Eagle Roofing Products offers products and services that may help a project qualify for LEED®, GreenPoint Rated, NAHB Model Green Home Building Guidelines and other green building programs*.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®)

A program of the U.S. Green Building Council, the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System™ provides a committee developed set of guidelines for the creation of buildings and residences that are kind to the environment and beneficial to their inhabitants. From reducing heat islands to improving indoor air quality, LEED approved projects strive to implement a comprehensive set of sustainable green building practices.

GreenPoint Rated

A third party rating system based on the Green Building Guidelines, GreenPoint Rated is a program of Build it Green, a nonprofit organization devoted to developing green building practices. From water efficient landscaping to durable roofing products to on-site electricity generation, guiding the design of energy and resource efficient homes in the state of California is the goal of the GreenPoint Rated program. NAHB Model Green Home Building Guidelines

The Model Green Home Building Guidelines as established by the National Association of Homebuilders were created to provide a nationally recognized guide to building homes that protect the environment while seeing to the comfort of the inhabitants. The NAHB Model Green Home Building Guidelinescover everything from lot design and development to the use of indigenous and recylced building materials.
